Best College Advice:
A bike is by far the best way to get around campus. Study early and often and you’ll be happier, and you won’t have to cram for your exams
An interesting fact about yourself:
My favorite type of literature is Science fiction short stories. If you want to expose yourself to 50 crazy, completely unique ideas in a short period of time, pick up an anthology of sci-fi short stories
Why did you decide to work at the RDC?
My friend Andre enjoyed his summer internship here, and I had heard a lot of good things about it. When management told me what my project would be, I could tell that they had specifically picked something which was going to be a good fit for me, so I accepted
Briefly, what is your project about?
I’m working on building and deploying touch screen apps that can be used in different areas at State Farm. Basically, someone said "Hey these touch screens are kind of cool, how can we use ‘em?" and my job is to say "Well, let’s see about that…"
What is your favorite thing about working here?
Sometimes I have to remind myself I’m working for a Fortune 50 company. The environment at the RDC feels like a small company. The people you work with every day quickly become your friends.
